Using mIRC For First Time

You will enjoy a free way to communicate worldwide with mIRC. Able to chat, conferences, discussions with thousands of people, or chats together, sharing files to play the game together.

mIRC can be easily configured, has many features such as buddy lists (friends list), file transfers, multi-server connection, sound, etc..

If you are a beginner with mIRC following new guidelines that will help you to: connect to mIRC, JOIN (join) Start a Channel and Chat with mIRC.

When you are already familiar and comfortable with these three basic things, then it's up to you, be creative and use the features of mIRC is more complex and sophisticated.

Installing mIRC on your computer:

1. First download the program, click this url: http://www.mirc.com/get.html (opens in new window), then you will see the download page.


2. Click the Download Now button and specify the folder where you will store the file mirc634.exe (usually will be on your desktop), you will use this file to install mIRC then Save File.


3. Download is complete.


4. Now, installing mIRC on your computer.
   Double click on the file mirc634.exe, You can just clik the Next button. Next will come;
   
   
   
   • Select Licence Agreement dialog appears Agree
   
   
   • Choose Install Location dialog appears Click Next Only
   
   
   • Select Choose Full Components, just click Next
   
   
   • Select Additional Task dialog appears, choose Next.
   
   
   • Appears Ready to Install, Select Install
   
   
   • Dialogue appears Completing the mIRC Setup Wizard,
   
   
   • Please tick Run mIRC and then select Finish
   
   
   • Done setup (installation) mIRC on your computer.
